PostSubject: what about religion   Wed Mar 05, 2014 5:48 pm

out of curious, how would everyone rate religion. i had some jehovah witnesses come to my door today. the same ones have been to my house a few times even though i told them i had no interest. but seems they have a interest in me. i have thought a few times is religions right? should i follow one and believe in faith? i do believe in a god, higher creator of this world. but is one religion right over another? are all simple man made stories of a god? how would one imagine, seek god aside from through a religion? so many religions and i find it hard to believe just one if any are right. yet many if not all share the same prime principles. just wondering if anyone with legit experiences know how to connect god with alchemy.
christianity has been so destructive throughout history, i have a hard time believing they are the one true religion. so much corruption.

so what are peoples thoughts on this?

You are right.
A lot of people is so confuse about spirituality because they are confused in themselves and use religion to justifie their inner mess.

There are more deeper religions and there are even deepest parts of religions, I mean there are Teachers of the past or present time that are really deep in their methods and suggestions.
And, of course, a religion that doesn't give you tools for your real change but just pretends that you should agree with mere statements or just live in a massive connection with other faithful people... Well, immediatly make me think of flags against other flags, do & do nots then... I and II world wars.
I think this is old folks hell.
Now we have the new one.
Now we are all individuals with all the challenges, beauty and problems that come from this. Some kind of consciousness that is beyond society and ethics, something that come from within. Sometimes desperately.

About the Witnesses, just let them know that you have a higher revelation than their and that you revelation is about just listening to the only God, the One that is already within. And let them know that you have to go to the dentist NOW!  Laughing

Alchemy is the most ancient religion of humankind; I mean that you can find it in all the most ancient and sincere religions, where faith is not against wisdom and research, where science was not the reaction to the black glue of the holy books, but was one of the possible approach to spirituality, where philosopher were not killed or cursed just because they think - how happened in Italy for a long time.
A lot of people boost a lot Qabala referred to Alchemy, nothing against it, but I've to say that there is much more.
And it's not only a matter of Hermetism (mainly a renaissance italian thing). I repeat, you can find it in every religion.
Here is to you a poem of the VI Dalai Lama:

A poem of the VI Dalai Lama…

You’ll never be reborn in hell if you’ll drink
With pure motivation the elixir distilled
From the snow waters
of the “Sacred Crystal Mountain”
and of the dew of the magic herb
“Bolt of the Demon-Serpent”
Offered by Vinaya
The Goddess of Wisdom

Know what I mean?

Very soon I'll write about it some books.
Good look for your sincere quest.
Zosimo

I agree zosimo, however, we have existed from the morning of the world and we shal exist until the last star falls from the night. Although we have taken the form of man, we are like all men as we are like no man, therefore we are God. Whole and complete. We are just trapped within the fetters of flesh.

There is not a single religion I have looked at that is not just full of amazing symbolism about the stars and sun in the sky. 12 disciples, twelve gates, man carrying water in new testament, light, blah blah. Learn astronomy. Learn connections. Then put the pieces together. All religions are original based from the 3 original sciences. Mainly astronomy. Even mythological stories from the past. Symbolizim. But we, the ignorant, think the words are to be literal. Jesus in fact is tied to a star. That happens to be a focus point for 2000 years before another age; another star takes over.

Really cool stuff actually. And I am still putting pieces together

Absolutely. The maji of ancient Persia studied these sciences. Hence the wise men at the birth of the Nazarene, and waaaay before at Osiris' birth. They were advisors and counselors to the kings and nobles of old.
