The method of preparation gives the essences an energetic dimension similar to homeopathy. The major difference between homeopathy and Spagyric is that the preparation process of both remedies is different. Homeopathy enhances the potential of the remedy by successive dilutions and vigorous shaking; in Spagyric the strength of the remedy is increased though the specific preparation process, and not by dilutions.

Basic methodology:

Fermentation of the plant material, inducing a transformation of some components of the plant.

Distillation after fermentation, during which natural alcohol, volatile compounds and essential oils are collected.

Burning of the residue of distillation at a high temperature to allow the recovery of minerals and trace elements of the plant

Finally, the salts are dissolved in the distillate and the resulting Spagyric essence undergoes a process of maturation.

nice and simple. thank you for this .

can you elaborate more on the the fermentation? Opened to air or sealed? I was under the impression one would just chop up the plant and add either alcohol or alcohol/water mixture. Close the lid, shake it, and set it under the counter in cool, dark place. Shake the jar once everyone couple of days at night.

Can fermentation happen, possibly work better, when the jar is left in the dark outside ? With a cover over it protecting but allowing it to breath?

On a side note, is stale water the same as fermented water?

As far as fermentation goes, either open or sealed, depending on what you're doing. And it most definitely works better, in my experience, to have it in a cool (70F) dark place, almost devoid of photons, that would otherwise alter what you are trying to achieve. And stale water is most certainly not the same as fermented water.

I always wondered about stale water. To me, it would seem that water that goes stale and turns green would be similar to it fermenting. Would stale water not be water that is breaking down? Could you not distill clean water back off of it? Seems like I remember something about this in the Golden Chain of Homer? I am just pondering here. Amuse me if you get time.
