PostSubject: Air wells, massive dew collection   Sun Oct 12, 2014 6:52 pm

I came across an awesome research topic for those who use dew paths. There is something called an "air well" its basically a huge passive condenser. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_well_%28condenser%29

The Wikipedia article says that some of them collect upwards of 95 gallons of dew water a day. With something like that, the dew path would actually be practical. Given a roof to limit rain collection,a little plumbing, and a good stationary solar furnace sunny it might even be possible to make a fully automated system that crystallizes pure raw philosopher's stone salt from the air, using very primitive means. In other words a veritable well of life.

My friend all you need is 6 paint buckets full of ice.
Nature is ridiculous simple.
