Using SKYPE

Nick,

I have wanted to get your feedback on the forum members using SKYPE for a visual aid. Maybe if one of us were having a problem with something, we could SKYPE you, and go over the problem together, and you could SEE what we are possibly doing wrong. In a lab situation, it might be just what we need to give us a little "boost" and some confidence in what we are trying to do. Just an idea.....and would like to hear your thoughts on this.

i also use skype my skype name = pjreed1979

that does sound interesting hyramposey but might have to be use properly if used because keeping in mind people are on different time lines and when people are available. i don't have a camera but txting thru the skype program is always very handy if something was needed quickly i guess.

Well, it looks a nice idea but, more than a matter of "what's happening in real time", it's a matter of the right technology able to show in pics what we've produced.

I've found a software-toy that, as a program, works as a video microscope: it's a toy but it works very well and costs 45 €!

I'll go to see and I'll inform you all.

I don't really see the need for it, and I only have Linux on my computer right now anyway.
