| The transfer is done, I am now the Admin of our forum. I have opened the forum so we should be able to accept new members. I know there are some people out there that have wanted to join us for some time, so now you can. If you have any problems just e-mail me. Read through the rules, they will pretty much stay the same as Nick posted them. Just be friendly is the most important. Just use the "register" button at the top of the forum.
It is so tragic that Nick has left us, but let's make something good with what he left us and continue our conversation and our trek toward what he was leading us to, as friends.

| Hi SunWukong,
Welcome to the Forum, please dig deep into the posts and find all which may illuminate your quest into this powerful world.
Commenting upon your question to the Administrator, IMHO, I choose to address your question, ultimately it will be the Administrators decision.
No one knows exactly happened to Nick and it would seem to me: In the very Forum which he created to speculate as to the cause of his passing as not best.
Nick, always wanted any member to bring a basic understanding to the Forum, in order not to bog it down with 'beginner' questions. So, with all due respect to yourself, I suggest SunWukong, to get deeper into the site and other info contained on the Internet through various sites, where there appears much evidence of Nicks' actions.
We, could speculate here but unless we really know the events of his fateful evening, 'his site', could become an unwanted Spring of Gossip. I believe more research will reveal what you seek.
IMO, Nick would have respected such effort.

| Hi Sun,
As to your question of what took Nick's life, noone really knows for sure. The choices are fairly clear though. His body showed signs of some kind of poison. We know that he was working with mercury IV colloidal gold and possibly radioactive materials. It also seems he was too smart to be accidentally poisoned by these things. As you can read some background in the thread "Danger To Alchemist's" I think it is very possible he was succcessful in making a powerful stone and as he previously warned so many alchemist's do, accidentally poisoned himself with it.
I will post it here first that the toxicology report came back 'undetermined'. I am looking into this for more details.

| Thank you blue floor, I see why your the new admin Im just a little shocked that he died, he put clear warnings in his books and methods who poisonous a lot of the procedures were, I valued his opinions in alchemy and I liked seeing him grow in the art, its a shame and to Kirk... thanks | |

| I have been waiting to join for months. Thank you Bluefloor for taking on this role, and burden of being an admin. Best of luck. I fully support a continuation of Nick's style of keeping everyone here on the straight and narrow, not discussing theories but actual practice, and results and photos of practice. | |

| Maybe reinstate the quiz requirement? I see a couple benefits of a short quiz requirement before being allowed to join:
1- It forces new members read all the old posts here, or use google to search the old posts, and get up to speed in order to answer the quiz
2- Keeps out those who aren't willing to read and answer the quiz
I'd aim for quality over quantity of discussions/members.
