Could this be Gur?

I love going to the last page on search engines. You find so many neat things. This article seems to have some relation to the mysterious jelly like substance known as Gur.

If you find Gur on the ground then save it,combine it part of it with gold leaf as soon as possible and set it in a BM bath. If it dissolves gold and turns black then you should let it go through the color changes. If it turns red then you have the stone prepared all you need to do is let it dry. The other part you saved might be able to be grown as a culture. If it's true then you can grow philosopher's stone in a flask.

Edit: A google image search on "Star Jelly" turns up hundreds of pictures of this mysterious Gur like substance.

all is very interesting so we must analized all it more deep
and about it this strange jelly star some speculate that even as hypotheses to be frog eggs jellies or similar compounds of frogs etc

(but in IMHO the egg frog or substance of frog i not belived that it is this the substance which are composes this jelly star but this is only my opinion so we about waef it is it we must made more thorough investigation )

so all it of this strange jelly star is very very interesting but we must well analized very more and very deep all this ipothesys about the composition of this strange substance which composes  this strange and ipotetical jelly star

sorry i do not know anything about it personally. I just asked by father in law about it since he has been in the country all his life. He noticed it immediately and told me where to find it. said he sees it often when he is turkey hunting.
i will try and get more details about it though

Now there's an idea. Why not print out pictures of this jelly stuff and ask local hunters about it? They are very used to getting up before the crack of dawn and wandering outside at those hours.

Gur has the annoying property of degrading to water in the sun light. It seems star jelly does too.
