PostSubject: Transmutation,a gem of youtube   Transmutation,a gem of youtube Icon_minitimeThu Feb 27, 2014 10:06 pm

I was browsing you tube and I found a video of a transmutation.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oirWtftDfJo

It's not spectacular, kind of boring actually, but the stone looks right.

If you look carefully the moment the stone melts into the metal it transmutes outward from the center.

I can't be certain but I'm pretty sure we have a video showing the real thing.  Razz

searching for Deneb Algeri, who is the one who made that video (assuming) let me to here, http://forum.alchemyforums.com/archive/index.php/t-1674.html, which lead me back to here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ybxQ6l4KXQ. which at the end says that something of equal value must be given to get something in return. also that the secret is in vitriol.

got any input on this ?

It doesn't really help much. Secret in VITRIOL?

Could mean many things.

forgive me if i am hijacking ?

ACCORDING to ∴N.D.C∴.. sergios information seemed to be a bust? i looked up things that boils at around 35-40 c. Only thing i found was this:

https://www.erowid.org/archive/rhodium/chemistry/ethyl.acetate.html

looking at the nitrogen family (again) we are lead to believe we are back to Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Arsenic (As), Antimony (Sb), and Bismuth (Bi). I find it always interesting how many threads and topics end up back to one of these elements. mainly arsenic, antimony and phosphorus. of course, we know phosphorus can be aquired from \"philosophical dew\". Solar i believe has worked recently with this path. I have antimony and bismuth in my possession. I also have \"philosophical dew\" stored that is now a really nice looking red liquid where it has sat. not sure the significance of it, if any.

Also, I remember Sun chanting the key was in the nitrogen family before. (he also claimed it was carbon, so i dunno) However, he has also left the scene and no where to be found. The forum really needs to start collecting the threads of old and organizing them with the facts to we can gather our thoughts and the past information and experiments together.

I also personally believe that it is true the process can be done in one glass. at body temperature also. no crazy high heat

Phosphorus makes up 0.1% of the earth's crust, making it the 11th most abundant element there. Phosphorus makes up 0.65 parts per million of soil, and 15 to 60 parts per billion of seawater. There are 200 million metric tons of accessible phosphates on earth. Phosphorus makes up 1.1% of a typical human by weight.

There are two principal methods for producing phosphorus. One is to mix crushed phosphate rocks with phosphoric or sulfuric acid, producing calcium hydrogen phosphates. The other is to reduce phosphates with carbon in an electric furnace.

Phosphorus in the form of phosphates occur in compounds important to life, such as DNA and ATP. Humans typically consume 1 to 2 milligrams of phosphorus per day. Phosphorus is found in several kinds of fish, liver, turkey, chicken, and eggs. Phosphate deficiency is a problem known as hypophosphatemia. A typical 70-kilogram human contains 480 grams of phosphorus

White phosphorus, an allotrope of phosphorus, is toxic, with 100 grams being a lethal dose. White phosphorus usually kills humans within a week of ingestion by attacking the liver. Breathing in phosphorus in its gaseous form can cause an industrial disease called "phossy jaw", which eats away the jawbone. White phosphorus is also highly flammable. Some organophosphorus compounds can fatally block certain enzymes in the human body.

here is a good page on the elements also

I think the "something of equal or greater value must be given in exchange" part is an expansion of the concept that the seed of gold is in gold. You cannot make the stone without sacrificing gold or silver.

"The secret is in vitriol" may mean that he's using either the Volpierre path or something similar. Ironically Volpierre himself was using a dew path. It's only the addition on the bottom of this work made by some other author that uses sulfuric acid (vitriol).

Dear Brothers,
Why waist your time in bogus/nonsense?
Just to make you consider that ANY kind of self-referential fanfare like that, and even lullaby about how the almighty gods (because he is one of them of course...)...
is mere nonsense...
I said that years ago and I repeat it.
The sign is: when somebody talks/write or behave like a pimp.
Real alchemists are wise, down to hearth, kind, helpful. humble, hidden.
Whoever behave like that Superguy has nothing in his hands.

Why do you dislike pimps? Pimps serve a very important role in the economy, and provide protection for his prostitutes. You are very judgmental.

Secondly, although he might behave in such a way it is obvious he has a stone of some sort, and he has shown more than you, that is, he has shown a photo of a completed stone, it is best not to judge unless you have something to offer.

I do agree with you that the bulk of the video is flowery bs... dramatic music, grandstanding, etc.

There is no such thing as a "real" alchemist.

For the record Nick had many good pictures of the stone as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szL-_Br8tk8

The guy's a freaking genius ! I count him amongst the great adepts and successful alchemists.

BTW does anyone have a way to rip these images from the video? I like to collect pictures of the completed stone. Photographic evidence is extremely useful when people say alchemy isn't real.

Not sure if suicide (cowardice to escape all the people he lied to and ripped off?) or death (poor decision making) or faked death (See suicide) (whichever theory you prefer) is my idea of "success." even if he is a genius, he is a proven compulsive liar, and therefore not worthy of any respect.

pictures of red liquids and unidentifiable salts also do little to prove the reality of alchemy. The only thing that proves is... the existence of whatever is in the photos unless the person you are talking to is willing to make massive leaps in logic.

I can identify about 1/2 of the salts an liquids in that slide show.

I take the extra time to memorize the appearance smell and taste of most everything I work with in chemistry/alchemy. There are certain things (like cumulative poisons) that I actively avoid tasting if I can help it. This way if I see a video/advertisement of an interesting feat of chemistry then I can get a good idea of how they pulled it off, without having to buy their over priced instruction manuals. For the record cyanide (which naturally occurs in the pits of wild cherries) tastes like centipede.

As far as the "Is Nick alive?". I have to say that yes Nick actually died, he has a state issued obituary. I asked Bluefloor if nick was dead and he said he actually talked to Nick's family and they confirmed this.
