Does anyone have any tips and tricks on how to make an Aludel and an Alembic for cheap?

I say just buy the modern lab set up. A 500ml boiling flask,a still head adapter,and a condenser (air condensers are nice), Over all it is a little more expensive than a distillation flask,but its cheaper in the long run because if one piece breaks you can replace only that piece and not the whole set up.
