The answer is simple, my friend. When it comes to alchemy, having a brain is not enough. It has often been said that none of the texts provide the answer, although they may provide many pieces of the answer. It also requires luck (finding just the right treatises to read out of thousands). Many of the Sages also said that the true answers can only be provided from one Adept to a worthy student by word of mouth. I have never interacted with a true adept (although dozens of self-proclaimed phonies). That's why I was trying to contact Sergio and his group. Are they Adepts? What they say rings true, but only interaction will verify it.

There are hundreds of books that talk about the duality of everything.It is also one of the most obvious observations. Alchemical texts are written in allegories, and any one thing can be substituted with dozens of different words for that thing, even within the same text. They become almost impossible to decipher without first comparing them to hundreds of other texts and making huge lists of concordances.

Every valid text talks about the same philosophers stone, but they definitely do not provide the same answer. Most don't even describe the initial preparation at all.
