PostSubject: Glad to be here!   Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:45 pm

I have been following Nick's sites for a while now, and have been reading this forum since its creation, but now I feel that I am ready to start participating and contributing. It is an honor to be a part of such a dedicated group.

I have been doing spagyric works recently, but am currently working on the third method with the vulgar water in Nick's book. I have been extracting the spirit and the water that comes over, never quite distilling it to dryness, and adding more old "saturne" to the flask. I have been saving the distillate in empty distilled water bottles. But I have noticed that when I add more old saturn to the boiling flask with the salt of the prior distillations, white crystals precipitate... I know this is not exactly the way described in the book, but it is just something that I have been doing since I have a great deal of old GW..
I do intend on preparing it exactly the way it is prepared in the book eventually... I'm just doing different things, trying to get to know a substance well...

I've been trying to catch somebody on the chatbox..
The message board isn't my preferred method of communication...

I have been saving the white crystals that sublimate.
You will find on page 56 of the second book what I am going to attempt.
It will still be some time before I have a sufficient quantity..
I'm afraid my only real contribution right now may be my enthusiasm...
I pray that I can confirm this simple method.

I know that Nick wrote that he has not tried this yet, but it seems to me that it should work.. whether this particular method does or doesn't-
will only proved by the fire...

*I didn't quite think that this belonged in the GW3 thread..
more than anything I wanted to let others know what method I hope to attempt and encourage everybody to continue pursuing the art.

Yeah that sounds like a cool little process to try out. It's nice to have you here and working. Smile

I was wondering if you got around to trying this out. This would save some time. I think this definitely belongs in GW method 3. I would have never made the connection, hadn't I been poking around here contemplating my own introduction. Hope you give it a try. I have some red crystals I acquired using the classic method in Nick's book. Should be firing them up in the kiln this weekend! Light and Love to you, to Nick , to all of you...

No. I'm afraid not. Embarassed
I have only been collecting the sublimated crystals so far...

It is hard to find the time throughout the day recently...
so I find myself with only the weekend to experiment..

I'd very much like to hear your results.

Sometimes I think I sabotage my self when it comes to actualizing the Stone. Almost as though my subconscious is preparing me for it. For everything there is a proper time sort of thing. I like your idea of concentrating the crystals. I will try the same, and I will also post my results on GW Method 3. Got to invest in a digital camera. A picture tells a thousand words Very Happy Good Luck, And say hello to Oregon for me She is a beauty. I haven't hugged one of her trees in a long time.
