The Glowing White Philosophical Mercury

In this past summer of 2008, I received some letters from a man who used the alias "Sergio". His IP address traced to Monterrey, Mexico. He claimed to be part of a group of 12 who posses the stone, and they make it using a glowing fluorescent white Philosophical Mercury, which sublimes in sunlight.

He refused to answer anymore of my questions, and nobody I know has been able to figure it out, so I figure it's time to share this with everyone and see if anyone else can decode his cryptic letters.

(Strange that he is supposed to be an accomplished alchemist that is part of an elite group, yet he didn't have the common sense to use a Spanish to English translator)

Your stone or elixir isn´t the true one , and I´m sure that you
can´t performance the real transmutation of poor or lower
metals in gold or silver , but listen i can tell you only the
ingredents to create the real stone , but I can´t tell you how
can make it , Isn´t personal but i haven´t the permission of El
or my brothers to tell how create it . Well my English isn´t good
but I believe that you can understood me . To create the Lapis
you need the following ingredients :

-Philosopher´s gold
-Calcined Arcanum Duplicatum (with coal)
-Destiled Water
-Butter of antimony
-Spiritus de vini
-Love , Faith and pacience.

You only need 1 crystal round flask to make the stone , the
correct order of heat , and the correct proyection of the stone
on pure gold (1 part of the stone to 4 of molten gold).Then
make the transmutation test 1 part of the stone can change
250 parts of lead , on pure gold,and 1000 parts of mercury on
pure gold . Listen you can change silver, copper or tin but in
less quantity (1-10 , 1-25 , 1-40).Iron CANNOT be transmuted
by any way to gold with the red stone or silver with the White
stone, first use the Venus Stone to change iron to copper and
then your prefered stone . The perfect stone can be finished on
1 day of hard work and 6 weeks of slow heat .

If the transmutation was sucessful completed now you can
make the elixir , take 1 part of the stone (without proyecting)
and 100 parts of Spiritus de vini,5 parts of Acetum destilatum ,
10 parts of honey or sugar (to sweet only)triturate the stone to
fine powder like refined sugar glass , put in 1 crystal flask and
mix the other ingredents , tap the flask and gently heat the
liqour for 14 weeks aprox. You see a liquid with the colour of
Red Wine and sweet smell and taste , if you born with the earth
element take 1 pint on saturday after winter solstice . If your
element is fire on sunday after equinox of spring . If you are
wind take ít on thursday after solstice of summer . And if you
are water , take it on friday after equinox of fall.

You fell some 'happiness' without explain after the drink , and
then when you are slepping open the door don´t look him to
the face and only answer to him with truly faith and love , and
he confers 1 gift select it with wisdom , only once time you can
stand infront him , if you try to open the door again you will die
without remedy . Solomoh chosen wisdom , I chosen other
gift .

To make the medicine take 1 drop of the elixir and 20 oz of
milk . put to rest all night and take the rose curd or 'cheese'
mix with 30 oz of vinager of red wine and put to ferment 3
weeks.

The terapeutic dosage is about 4-6 drops on male adults 4 on
female , and 1-3 on childrens . Only cure phisical diseases or
infections, blindness ,deafness , paraplegia , etc. But cannot
regenerete amputate members or deformations or born
syndromes(like Down).

I would first like to thank you for giving me your
instructions on how you and your brothers produce the
Stone, and the Elixir and Universal Medicine.

I think I have indeed figured out how to do it by your clues.
If I'm right, then your Philosopher's Gold is antimony or the
Star Regulus of antimony(NO) And your butter of antimony
is antimony trichloride, which is the Philosopher's Mercury
(NO BUT IS ONE KEY). If these 2 are joined together in
the proper proportions and heated in a quartz crystal flask for
6 weeks, it will go through the color changes and make the
Stone(NO , ONLY MAKE A KERMESSITE). The
antimony itself will be entirely transformed. But do I also
need to add the Philosopher's Salt which would be the
calcined potassium sulfide (Arcanum Duplicatum)(YES
AND NO) Or is that only used to titrate the Stone after it's
dissolved in distilled water?(YOU NEED THE WATER
TO SOLVE SOME INGREDIENTS AND THEN

Thank you so very much Sergio for responding again. The photo indeed shows me that your words
are true and your white mercury does actually glow like a fluorescent bulb when in the shade or
dark! I hope with reading your words many times I will eventually understand your meaning. But
now that you mention jupiter and the moon, this means tin and silver are also now involved. It went
from being just the butter of antimony and philosophical gold, to being so many ingredients. I'm only
more confused now.

But why are you no longer going to communicate with me in more emails? I don't want to be pathetic
and beg for you to stay. You don't have to tell me anymore about your stone in the emails if
you don't think I deserve anymore help. Nobody has ever helped me with alchemy -- I had to figure
out everything myself. This is the only time a real alchemist has helped me, so I am eternally
grateful to you for the door you have opened. It is only a matter of time before I understand your
words. As you know, I'm very good at understanding alchemy writings. So if you know I'm going to
figure it out anyway, then why not help me more? I WILL GIVE YOU ONE KEY , FIND ONE
INGREDIENT ESENCIAL ON THE NITROGEN FAMILY I know you want me to work for it because
if you just told me exactly how to do it, then I might not appreciate it. But I just need to know what

So I managed to get 4 letters out of him, even though he only intended on giving me just the one letter at first.

What I think is very amusing is how Sergio is so certain he has a superior stone to mine, but he only has the Philosopher's Stone for transmutation and physical health. It's not the Elixir of Life which will make you psychic.

And since I have the REAL Elixir of Life which does indeed make you psychic enough to know everything about anyone you choose, it will be fun to email Sergio again with a full detailed description of his whole life, and his real name, and then what will he say?

He also didn't have a photo of his completed Philosopher's Stone, and said he only keeps the dust in a rice bag. Not a very impressive stone.

The stones we are able to make using our Alkahest from dew and salt can all be multiplied to the glowing stage, and made from any metal.

So I see no advantage over Sergio's process of making the Stone, and indeed his glowing Philosophical Mercury could just be our Alkahest from dew and salt multiplied 10 times instead of only 5, and then it probably does glow fluorescent white and sublime in sunlight.

And for the record, in my group the Illuminated Alchemists Order (IAO) we have been discussing these letters from Sergio for a long time.

Here is a note I posted in our group which helps sort out the letters:

***In his 1st letter, he gave the instructions for how to perform the
process once we have all the ingredients prepared.

***Then in the 2nd letter, he says antimony trichloride isn't the
completed Philosophical Mercury, but he does admit it's a key. He then
clarifies exactly what will be needed to make the Stone by this path:
3 elements are needed - all are found in the mineral realm
2 of them make the Luna (the glowing white Philosophical Mercury) and
the other one makes the Sol (the gold).

The 2 that make the Philosophical Mercury have these properties:
-They take their shinning from the Moon (silver)
-They are the soul and spirit of the stone
-One is a daughter (antimony) of Saturn (lead), and the other is a son
(bismuth)
-One is used for metallurgy (antimony), and one is used in medicine
(bismuth)
-Both elements are inexpensive
-The 2 of them combine to make 1 wife for the gold
-This Philosophical Mercury is less dense than mercury, but more dense
than silver, so it's made of 2 elements between mercury and silver on
the periodic table

Of the 3rd element, the body, the Sol, he gives this properties:
-Takes it's shinning from the Sun
-it is the body of the stone
-it is the grandson of of the son of Saturn
-it is a precious metal that is used for the world's vanity


***Then in his 3rd letter, he seems to confuse some details about the
Philosophical Mercury. He now says it's made from the *sister* and son
of Saturn, and the son is named Jupiter (tin). Whereas before, he said
it was the daughter, not the sister of Saturn. But I think this is
because he is now describing another process. He says the sister of
Saturn and Saturn's *other* son. It's this part that is the key
because it describes the rest of the work. I still need to sort it out.

There are 2 sons of Saturn, one we know is Tin, and the other we know
is bismuth. We know Tin gets married to the sister of Saturn, and
Bismuth gets married to the daughter of Saturn (antimony), but we
don't know which element is the sister. We also know this sister of
Saturn is also the mother of silver and gold.

Instead of going with Greek mythology, I decided to just look at the
periodic table to make sense of Sergio's family descriptions of the
elements. When we look at the periodic table, it's clear that Gold is
indeed the grandson of thallium, if we see thallium as the son of
lead. But thallium would then have to be a 3rd son, so this makes no
sense unless there are 3 sons. He only mentions 2 sons of Saturn though.


***In his 4th letter, he plainly explains the nitrogen column of the
periodic table contains the elements essential for transmutation, and
hence essential for making the Philosophical Mercury which is used to
dissolve gold into red ash powder. He also explained that the white
stone is made from Silver, and arsenic is needed when making the white
stone, so it's much more dangerous.

He says all the nitrogen family can form allotropes, but he says the
last 3 elements of the Nitrogen column are the most powerful. He says
aresenic and antimony both have 4 allotropes, but only 1 is the key,
and the other 3 are poisons. And bismuth has only 3, and they are all
safe, but only one carries the power.

He clearly reveals that arsenic is be used for the white stone process
with silver and sofia is used to change it to it's allotropic form and
make it safe. Then for the red stone process with gold, we have 2
options -- one is fast, and one is slow. The fast path uses the
poisonous Babylonian Dragon (antimony) which we must take the poison
away from. And the safe way is to use the Noble White Lead (bismuth)
but he say's it's much slower.

I found a book at books.google.com titled "Chemistry of Arsenic,
Antimony and Bismuth" By Nicholas C. Norman and it should help this
situation a lot.

I think it's important to note that Sergio somewhere in his letters
that the method he is describing is the fast method for the red stone,
which means it's the one with antimony. He didn't give the
instructions for using bismuth, or the instructions for making the
white stone with aresenic. But in his 3rd letter, he did seem to
describe a whole jumble of mess, with the sister of Saturn having a
child with Jupiter, but then Jupiter had another child with Antimony,
and that child had offspring with his grandmother, and that offspring
is the Luna or Philosophical Mercury who is very beautiful but she has
no body.

She attracts the love of the King, the Sol, gold, and her power
overcomes him and burns him to red ashes, then her virgin spirit
raises his ashes to give birth to a son, which is the Stone, the Christ.


There is still a lot to figure out, and this may be a wild goose
chase, but the letter's do make much more sense now.

Excuse me for interjecting, but trying to think out of the square. I know there are 5 elements that make up the Nitrogen family, however all of these elements have another essential property. They all have 5 electrons each.

Isn't that is an essential ingredient? and in my limited knowledge of the elements isn't Boron the only other element with 5 electrons. (Outer shell)
What is the effect of something having 5 electrons?
Does anybody know if this may help.

Hey nick what do u think Bismuth subnitrate maybe for the mercury and the body . (Philosophers gold ) just gold made by medicine , multiplied buy antimony, I would think oil of antimony so u have removed the poisons there abouts . I have read oil of antimony is said to glow after being prepared by art.
May be bismuth subnitrate multiplied by oil of antimony to make it glow . Make the bismuth subnitrate volatile by repeated sublimation through AF ,maybe AF mixed with oil of antimony then sublimate it. Collect sublamate grind with gold, heat to make first medicine

Ok i got another idea, Calcined Arcanum Duplicatum before it was that it was AF . Now I'm thinking bismuth dissolved in AF ,distil off then calcine till clear you have Calcined Arcanum Duplicatum . There's a tract in potpourr1 NOW FOLLOWS THE PREPARATION OF THIS MAGNETIC SALT bismuth is used in this.I think its interesting in the list on the first letter he doesn't mention bismuth, but mentions sol and one of the Luna's, so may be the other Luna was in the Calcined Arcanum Duplicatum which is the mercury prepared in one day of hard work .

I finally was able to get a clear psychic reading of Sergio's mind tonight while he slept. And what I found was that yes, his process is true and the photos are indeed showing a Philosophical Mercury that glows by it's own light, but it does so by the same means glow in the dark powders work. So the fact is glows is not from the astral fire like we thought, and this chemical basically does nothing in the process. It's a useless chemical that is added just for show, and to lead anyone astray who tries to replicate his work; it's a decoy.

And I found that Sergio never intended for me to figure out his process; he didn't share it with me to try and help me -- his only intention was to convince me that he has a stone that I will never learn how to make.

And Sergio is alone; there aren't 12 members of his group unless they are people he emailed like he did with me. Physically he does not have 12 friends that he has met in real life and shared this process with. He doesn't actually belong to any secret society. His main desire is to make me believe I have not finished my quest for the Stone and to make me jealous and envious of what he has. He also then intended to use me as a launching pad to get him noticed in the alchemy community, and if that succeeded, then he would have posted the video of his process and used it for becoming the center of attention in the alchemy community; that was his main goal.

But there was a reason he wanted to be the center of attention, several reasons actually, but none of them were from ill intentions. He just mainly wanted to shift the focus onto a process that looks visually stunning because of the glowing white mercury and color changes that happen in the flask, so that people who were looking for the stone would be led down a dead-end path.

Because I revealed processes that too plainly showed how to make the stone, Sergio wanted to hide the stone again and prevent people from succeeding. But not out of mean spiritedness or ill intentions. He just truly believes the stone should not be in plain sight. The same thing happned countless times in the past; whenever an alchemist wrote too plainly about a process another person would write a confusing by very convincing book to lead people astray.

It also does indeed produce a stone that can perform transmutations, so even a psychic reading on the process will tell you that it can work, but if you believe you need his phony Philosophical Mercury, then your efforts will be forever in vein.

But since I didn't tell enough people about his process, he never became well known, and so he never saw any reason to post the video; his plan failed.

He found a round about way to make the Stone by incorporating a useless glowing material he made which he may or may not understand is not even essential to the process. It's unclear whether he actually believes his glowing white "mercury" is required for the process to work, but I'm certain that it is of no importance because it's not a true Philosophical Mercury, which is why the gold has to be prepared and dissolved by another more common means before adding it to the other ingredients in this process.

I'm getting a strong impression that he found a "glow in the dark" white liquid one day, and then decided to use it in an attempt to make the stone, but it doesn't actually do anything but add poison to the tincture.

It could very well be the same liquid used in hand bubblers but with white glow in the dark powder added


Or it could be ethyl ether with a white glow powder added, and this would actually be able to dissolve gold chloride since it's one of the few metals that are soluble in ether. So it could produce a very convincing video if someone wanted to make it look like a glowing white mercury is able to dissolve gold, and sublimes at low temparute (98F) the same temperature as your hands, and in sunlight will "sublime".

What is clear to me is that Sergio's glowing Philosophical Mercury is a trick so anyone who learns about making the stone will get preoccupied and obsessed with trying to find a chemical with impossible properties.

What is unclear is if Sergio invented this deceitful trick himself, or if the process was handed down to him like that, with this clever little safety block so if Sergio was tempted to share hints of the process with other people, they would all fail to figure it out, always assuming they need to make the glowing philosophical mercury first.

Anyway, the irony is that now in January a process for making the Stone was indeed released to the public but not by Sergio, and indeed we can make a REAL glowing white substance, but it's not a phony glow in the dark powder, it's actually the white stone glowing by it's own light.

When searched for the word dew in the RAMS library, I found 27 different books on the first disc alone with processes which make the Alkahest from dew. They all seem to confirm everything written in the Cappucine monk letters with regard to how the gold is dissolved into an oil, and becomes black, then changes through various colors and then white, then ending as red. And it's an oil, then becomes hardened when heated in the sand bath, and eventually glows like an ember or coal.

When Sergio wrote to me these above letters, I didn't yet have any information about the dew path on the website. Now that the path is on the website, Sergio is silent. I even sent him a video of me talking into the camera because I was hoping it would cause him to react and write back what he thinks of the dew process.

The dew path is something no true alchemist can deny or speak badly about, because it is the central process in alchemy and the original way the stone was taught, with no other process ever able to compare to the simplicity and beauty of natures morning dew. So many other bizarre ways have been found to make the stone, and yes aresenic can be used for the dry path because it dissolves gold, and yes antimony can be used for the wet path because it also dissolves gold both by eating it as the gray wolf in dry form, then dissolving it by direct chlorine ion transfer when in the oxychloride form. And I wouldn't be surprised to find that bismuth can somehow be incorporated in dissolving gold.

Sergio may never make that video and may never tell anyone how his process works, but the irony is that my youtube video is going to be far better than his process anyway, and be far more visually stunning also.

Understand that when I say my video is going to be better than Sergio's, I am not tooting my own horn and feeding my ego -- I'm simply laughing at the irony -- Sergio wanted to "one up" me and he truly believes I stand below him, and he is the master who is far above me.

But the end result is that he just pushed me to find the ultimate process for producing the stone, and the central secret solvent of alchemy, and now I am going to "one up" him, and he will not be able to look at his rice bag of crushed stone and see it as so much better than my stone. Now he will see my stone glowing beautifully in my youtube video, and made by the beautiful sweet dew of mother nature, without me doing any work. And anyone who wants to make it can go ahead and make it themselves because it's so easy.

If I were Sergio watching that video, I would feel like a total jackass.

In his letters he was always laughing at me with that "hehehehe" nonsense, and now look who's laughing....

Nick thank you for posting all that information about the Sergio letters and for doing the reading. It always did seem like there was something missing in those photos, or something unclear. I'm happy to no longer have that as an unresolved question in the back of my mind.

Sergio's mention of having to make more of the stone and of this being a laborious process always made me curious as to how powerful what he had could be in comparison to the Leyden process. I always wondered why it would be so hard to create more from multiplication if it did involve metals. Seems like he may have been unclear here as well, perhaps to provide less information and more distraction.

Seems as though this sort of thing comes to light quite a bit whenever a process is revealed plainly.
It is always so much more inspiring to think about the good that can be accomplished with using the stone rather than hiding the information. At any rate it's not as though everyone alive is open to trying to understand this work much less put in the time trying, so there is a lot of selectivity involved even if it appears on the surface as self selection.
