Hello Guest!

I would like to know from you what you have accomplished
following the Volpierre Method.

I´m willing to begin the work, but I would like to know if this
path is a successfull one or a waste of time.

Please, answer me as soon as possible.

With best regards,

Frater Lucius Splendoris.

I may be late responding to this but I don't think that anyone should be hasty to discount the origional text where it says to heat to 380C (+500F). It might seem extremely hot but it's not unrealistic when you consider that sulfuric acid boils at just over 300C. If your intention is to distill out the sulfuric acid then the origional temperature is absolutely correct. For those that want to try this I suggest keeping a bucket of baking soda water on hand. That way if the flask should shatter you have an emergency method of neutralizing the acid in a hurry. I also suggest a fuzed quartz distilation aparatus if you're using a flame based heat source because it's a bit too easy to melt your equipment otherwise.
