Question about plant elixir/stone Empty
PostSubject: Question about plant elixir/stone   Question about plant elixir/stone Icon_minitimeMon May 25, 2009 10:08 pm

I am very new to alchemy. I have read about making an elixir from plants, which can be multiplied into a stone, in books by Frater Albertus, Mark Stavish, and others. It was recommended that this be made by beginners before working with minerals, and it said the elixir is much weaker than one derived from the mineral kingdom, but still useful. The process seems simple and fun, I'm sure that people here on the forum have made this. So does anyone have advice for beginners trying to make this elixir? Do you have a favorite book about spagyrics or astrology? Can anyone share their expirience with this elixir?

The process has to do with selecting an herb, drying it, mixing it with strong alcohol, sealing it up and keeping it warm for a while. I read that vodka can be used if stronger alcohol is unavailable at the time, but would it need to be further distilled?

How did you apply for the permit? Can a person just pay for it via on line?

augie, please stop using all uppercase letters, or I will be forced to remove you from this forum. Be considerate to those who have to read what you type.

Thank you.

Hi Hopeful,

I don't know that this is necessarily a proper discussion for this forum, so Nick may end up needing to delete this, but here is the primary work by Manfred Junius on plant alchemy, i.e. spagyrics. Hope it helps.

Question about plant elixir/stone Empty
PostSubject: Re: Question about plant elixir/stone   Question about plant elixir/stone Icon_minitimeSat May 30, 2009 10:45 pm

The problem I have with plant alchemy is the fact everyone assumes there is ONE process to follow for making the stone from a plant. This is just as foolish and thinking there is ONE process for making the stone from metals.

And there is also the problem of the kingdoms -- I don't agree that alchemy should be separated into the plant, animal, and mineral kingdoms. The elixir of life can be made from the mineral realm, but also from the blood of a human, and from some very special plants that have an extraordinarily over-abundance of astral energy, like Melissa.

If we simply use our Alkahest from dew on blood, we can make the stone from blood. Just by letting the blood sit out for 5 hours to separate itself naturally into 2 layers, then pour off the top clear layer, and let the bottom red layer dry. Dissolving this in the Alkahest and then digesting as if it were gold will produce the stone of the human kingdom, probably far more powerful than the stone from gold. Of course, we should really make elixirs from gold, silver, blood, and from the plant kingdom, like Melissa, in order to get the full benefits of nature's energies.

Thanks for the insight. I hope you can share the results of your experience here, and I don't think this is improper discussion at all, this being a forum for the discussion of methods for creating elixirs and stone with practical alchemy.
