This deposit you can see after some days of refrigerator in my determined dew (collected with linen cloth) what is ?
It's pollen or is a form of niter ?

The pics are too blury to be used for identification purposes. You should put a magnifying glass in front of your camera and adjust the lens for close-up photos if possible.

I'll do again the pics this week.
I think that the theme of the "nature of Niter" is crucial.
With more knowledge we can use better our dew.

In the occasion I would like to ask about the do-don't-do about dew

- you can collect dew even "with" or "on" plastic or steel
- probably the direct moonlight is not so crucial to charge our dew
- the electric storms give more niter to our dew
- doesn't matter if dew is exposed to non direct light
- the only thing is that dew must never warm up > 20°

Yes, I agree with all those points. It can also be exposed to direct sunlight during the winter months when the dew is frozen, and you have to wait for it to thaw from the rays of the rising sun in order to collect it.

My compound mirror experiment has definitively demonstrated that the formation of dew is strongly influenced by the light of celestial bodies, being the moon and the stars principally. More dew forms on nights with clear skies for this reason, and anyone who wants to replicate my experiment will see just how amazing this facet of nature really is.

Also, I have done some experiments with collecting what I call virgin orange clay. This clay when applied to the face is very rejuvenating. However, when this clay is collected fresh and allowed to sit in contact with aluminum for a long time, it is very itchy when applied to the face and does not have the same effect at all. My conclusion is that virgin clay is effected by what metal it comes into contact with, and I would assume that dew, being a virgin material, may have the same impressionable qualities.

May be it's always matter of quantity and weight, or - better - of quantity or weight of a particolar influence, negative or positive it can be.
So, just for instance, if we consider <5> the influence of the direct light of celestial bodies we can give the value <1> to the daylight, <3> to the metal intruments used quickly (pipes, filters, funnels), <8> to the metal or plastic intruments used for long time (vessels, bottles), <9> for full moon nights and, let's say, <10> for blessing. For what we can call fluctuation-fenomena we can give the same <10>.

Like somebody said "looks like cooking a cake".
May be it's important to define all these "influences" and open our mind to be in the always changing dance of this... uni-verse...

...So, the other question is: the proceess of the CHEMICAL MOONLIGHT works only with airy dew, from wich you have to produce the vigin earth, isn't it ?

The next D-nights of June I'll be in the most humid places in central Italy to collect dew in the many ways I know, and I'll keep it in the fridge. I'll try two paths using the dew collected in various ways: I have six 500 ml flasks, and the sand baths to keep them.

I experienced the matter of manteining the flask hermetically closed at high temperature heating. I've some suggestions.
But before of it I'll buy a camera.

Well, I start the heating of a little determined dew (the one collected on the ground) + salt. Then I will filter it with brita-like system.
Some days of balneo-mary temp., then a little more temp. just to rotate it some others days to purifie all the moss, waiting for the undetermined (aerial dew) the June D-days collection.
The flask (2 lt. baloon) is bigger than the mantle-reactor (1 lt. mantle) just to mantain easely low temp.
The ground glass stopper is closed by a steel cable.
But even if you have such a steel safety system, before to knot it, you should screw with a certain strenght the glass stopper in the baloon (it sounds like... gneeeeek! ) but, first of all, the stopper should be of the precise size of the glass...
This is the problem when you www.buy !

I think it's amazing how the light of the moon can cause more dew to form on the surface of a material faster than normal.

But the bottom line is that all you need to do is place a 16 pound bag of ice in a 5 gallon bucket, and you have 1 liter of dew in just a few hours. And no matter what month it is, and no matter what phase of the moon it is, and no matter how much cloud cover there is, the dew you collect like this will work for making the Alkahest.

There's no need to spend so much time and energy discussing collecting dew. This topic of how to collect dew has dominated this message board all year long, and it just goes on and on, 'round and 'round in circles. Am I the only one who's tired of reading about dew collection methods?

It's kinda fun to see how complicated people can make things! Then again I'm still fairly new to all this, it must be comically frustrating for you at times.

I know, dear Nick, it looks foolish but...
until I didn't find my not-determined-dew I had to look for it in any ways it can appear and where and how, because of the simple thing that where I live there's not dew at all !!!

Now I found out the way and I thank and bless you and this forum .

Somewhere in the forum I explain to Bluefloor the way to collect dew in very dry places...
